University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority Nursing Assistant, PACU (Finance)

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday through Friday role, working 10-hour shifts. The start time ranges between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., depending on scheduling and operational needs. There is also an on-call requirement, need to report to Hospital within 1 hour, which includes weekend and holiday rotation. On-call shifts may be day or night, again based on department needs.

Pay:

External hires may be eligible for up to a $3000 sign on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). NA Positions include a weekend and evening/night shift differential.

Nursing Assistant (CNA, NA) to:

Provide direct physical care and basic nursing procedures and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. You'll assist with activities of daily living, repositioning, transfers, patient mobility, and intentional rounding.

Interact and engage with visitors, patients, and their family members to establish a trusting relationship to provide high quality care.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of State of Wisconsin Approved Nursing Assistant program Required
Work Experience
  • 1 year recent experience as a Nursing Assistant Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry Upon Hire Required
  • BLS/CPR certification within 3 months Required
