We're looking for an entrepreneurial RN who is hungry to help grow a local business and brings exceptional clinical skills to the work. Excellent IV start skills are essential. You must be a highly proficient IV nurse who can confidently lead a team of nurses with equally strong IV skills.
You should enjoy connecting with clients and feel comfortable discussing wellness services and memberships. This role is a strong fit for someone who wants to practice in an outpatient setting while taking ownership of team performance and business growth.
Our atmosphere is relaxed, but our clinical standards are rigorous. We need someone who can make clients feel at ease while holding the team accountable for excellent care.
Your roleThis is a hands-on supervisory position. You'll provide direct client care while managing nursing team performance and clinical inventory.
You'll work closely with ownership and follow established clinical protocols under our supervising medical provider through Guardian MD, with support from the Hydrate franchise system. You'll have a voice in improving how we operate and responsibility for following through.
What you'll do:Deliver exceptional IV care
- Demonstrate excellent peripheral IV insertion technique, including confidence assessing veins and working with difficult access within established protocols.
- Prioritize client comfort and sound clinical judgment, knowing when to seek assistance or elevate concerns.
- Assess nursing IV competencies and coach an already skilled team toward consistent, high-quality care.
- Perform client assessments and administer IV therapy and injections within your scope of practice and established protocols.
- Prepare treatments accurately and maintain infection prevention and medication safety standards.
- Recognize contraindications or changes in a client's condition and consult the supervising medical provider when appropriate.
- Complete accurate, timely documentation and protect client confidentiality.
- Make clients feel welcome and comfortable discussing their wellness goals.
- Explain eligible services and their limitations clearly, using approved clinical information without overstating benefits.
- Confidently discuss pricing and memberships, helping clients choose options that fit their interests and budget.
- Ask for the sale when appropriate and support repeat visits through attentive service and follow-up.
- Coach nurses on effective client conversations while keeping clinical judgment and client choice at the center of every recommendation.
- Bring ideas for reaching more of the Madison community and take initiative to help turn them into results.
- Train and onboard nurses, assess clinical competency, and verify readiness to provide services independently.
- Set clear expectations and hold staff accountable for clinical standards and professional conduct.
- Provide direct, constructive feedback and address performance concerns in partnership with ownership.
- Earn the trust of experienced nurses through strong clinical practice and consistent follow-through.
- Help coordinate nursing coverage and communicate staffing needs.
- Foster a supportive environment where skilled nurses continue learning and take pride in their work.
- Manage medical and retail inventory, including ordering and purchase tracking.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and monitor expiration dates to prevent avoidable shortages or waste.
- Oversee weekly inventory counts and complete comprehensive month-end reconciliation.
- Review purchasing costs and report inventory discrepancies or waste trends to ownership.
- Coordinate with pharmacy partners and approved suppliers to resolve order issues.
- Keep supplies organized and ready for in-spa care and mobile services.
- Identify operational problems and follow through on practical improvements.
- Communicate protocol and product updates clearly to staff.
- Use scheduling and clinical systems confidently, troubleshooting routine issues and escalating when needed.
