Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Thoracic Surgery team.
This role involves caring for patients with lung and esophageal diseases.
The patient population includes those undergoing lobectomies, decortications, and esophagectomies.
Nurses will assist with procedures such as chest tube insertion within the unit.
The position fosters a dynamic general care environment utilizing strong teamwork.
Candidates should provide compassionate care and employ critical thinking skills.
Continuous improvement and acquisition of new skills is encouraged.
Evidence-based nursing practices should be integrated into the unit culture.
ICU or intermediate care and surgical post-operative experience is required.
Preferred experience includes thoracic addition, travelers will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to starting.
