American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care/Telemetry position requiring ventilator and transplant experience along with a passing telemetry exam score.

• Work across two IMC units:
  Acute Med/Progressive Care and Thoracic
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 7:00pm-7:30am
• Every other weekend required
• Some holidays required
• Floating required as needed
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active WI RN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years acute care experience within the last 3 years in specialty
• Must have experience in an Academic Level I or II trauma center or similar size hospital
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience required
• Telemetry, oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
• Ventilator and post-transplant care experience required
• Must pass telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to start

• Provide telemetry and cardiac monitoring care including dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Utilize rapid response/code teams as needed
• Care of ventilated and post-transplant patients
• Telemetry exam requires 100% identification of lethal rhythms and no incorrect answers on 3rd degree heart block questions on adult exam
• Two exam attempts allowed; a third attempt requires submission of a cardiac interpretation review course certificate
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility as local candidates are not accepted
• Parking permit required if parking onsite, though alternative transportation options are available
• Located at a Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital and referral center
