Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin.

- Required Qualifications: Must hold a Wisconsin RN license, with at least 2 years of recent acute care experience in cardiovascular or ICU settings. Certifications required include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). Previous charge nurse experience and travel experience are required. Knowledge of the Epic charting system and trauma level I experience are preferred.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, WI or compact RN license
- Experience: 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU or cardiovascular care, including telemetry interpretation and complex patient management.
- Additional Information: Experience with managing invasive lines such as ports, arterial lines, and central venous pressures (CVP), as well as cardiac procedures like CABG or TAVR, is essential. Nurses will care for adult and geriatric patients, with a patient census of approximately 26 per day. The unit involves handling high-acuity patients and requires flexibility, including floating as needed. Previous charge experience and travel experience are mandatory.

24 hours - Additional Notes: Prior to start, travelers must pass a telemetry interpretation exam with a score of 80% or higher, with two attempts allowed. Certification of completion for cardiac interpretation review courses is acceptable if exam attempts are unsuccessful.
