We are seeking an experienced Plant & Facility Safety Manager to lead safety and compliance initiatives across our recycling, transfer, maintenance, and waste facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Lead environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs across multiple facilities.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and workplace hazard assessments.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate employee safety orientation and ongoing training programs.
- Investigate incidents, injuries, near misses, and property damage to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
- Manage programs including:
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Fall Protection
- Forklift and Heavy Equipment Safety
- Hot Work & Welding Safety
- Hazard Communication
- Fire Prevention and Emergency Response
- PPE Compliance
- Maintain emergency response and evacuation plans.
- Maintain required safety documentation, permits, and records.
- Track safety metrics, training completion, and corrective actions.
- Partner with facility leadership to continuously improve workplace safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of safety management experience in industrial, manufacturing, recycling, waste, or heavy equipment environments.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety standards.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other relevant safety certifications preferred.
- Experience conducting incident investigations and safety audits.
- Experience developing and delivering engaging employee safety training.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
- Valid WI driver's license.
