The person in this role is intended to facilitate a first point of communication for quality, food safety and regulatory information requests from customers. This role is also essential to supporting the Meister Quality and Sales/Customer Service functions.
** Responsibilities:
** 1. Ensure Finished product specifications meet Customer Specification and Standards of Identity
2. Ensure product labelling compliance which would include but not limited to:
1. Ensure all supporting regulatory compliance documents are on file from suppliers
2. Ingredient Declarations
3. Nutritional Labelling
4. Product Claims
1. Vegetarian/Gluten Free/rBST Free
2. Kosher/HALAL/Organic
5. Allergen Declaration
6. Label Formatting
3. Ensure affidavits for each product that are supplied to customers are accurate and substantiated by proper documentation which includes but not limited to:
1. PFAS
2. Prop 65/Heavy Metals
3. Aflatoxins
4. Assist in Export Documents
1. Pasteurization Declarations
2. Health Certificates/ 3. Certificates of Free Sale
5. Certification Maintenance and Support for Identity Preserved Foods Programs 1. Act as company contact for GFSI, Kosher, Halal and Organic certification bodies
2. Facilitate application completion and annual renewals including Organic System Plan updates and addendum submissions
3. Facilitate scheduling of on-site inspections and audits
4. Complete necessary forms for submission of new products for approval for respective claims
6. Customer and Regulatory Support
1. Complete and update customer documentation requests including submissions of information in the form of surveys, documents and other records through customer portal systems
2. Maintain and update all requests for MCC and MPP in Tracegains
7. Approved Supplier Program Maintenance
1. Support intake of new suppliers
2. Maintain approved supplier program records including compliance status against minimum company approval requirements
3. Track and report status of compliance to quality leadership where required
8. Document and Record Control Systems Administration
1. Control documents and log records in registers or indexes
2. Ensure appropriate categorization and filing of electronic documents using SharePoint or other windows-based systems
3. Ensure documents placed into the system meet minimum documentation requirements
4. Ensure documents submitted for control are approved in compliance with document control policies
5. Catalog all revision changes for documents using the document control index 6. Log all retention information for documents submitted for control that become records
9. Essential skills and preferred experience:
1. Required- basic use of Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
Experience with SharePoint is a plus.
2. Ability to learn and use company databases and reporting tools
3. Ability to learn and use various web portals and applications
4. Experience in dairy manufacturing or quality preferred
5. Ability to prepare documents and written statements for internal and external use 6. High level of organization and attention to detail required
