Job Description
Adecco is assisting a company in North East Madison in hiring a Quality Insurance Inspector.
Pay: 18-20/hr based on experience.
Hours:
6:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday
Experience using calipers, height gauges, and other calibrated inspection tours is required.
Position SummaryThe Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for receiving and performing quality inspection of incoming material, in-process, and finished devices to ensure compliance with established specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform quality inspection and tests on incoming material, in-process, finished devices to ensure compliance with established specifications
- Document inspection results according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Identify nonconforming material and elevate to the Material Review Board (MRB)
- Interact with various cross-functional departments including engineering, manufacturing and R&D in a collaborative team environment.
- Follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.

Education and Experience- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in quality assurance required, preferably in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry or technical field.
- Experience working with an electronic process (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Access, Excel)
- Able to understand product applications, specifications, functionality, structure, assembly and test methods/processes.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
- Capable of handling and inspecting small components.
- Constantly sits.
- Frequently uses hands and fingers.
- Occasionally walks and stands.
- Occasionally bends and stoops.
- Occasionally reaches up/down with arms.
- Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 30 lbs.
18.00 to 20.00 per hour
