Quality Insurance Inspector

Job Description

Adecco is assisting a company in North East Madison in hiring a Quality Insurance Inspector.

Pay: 18-20/hr based on experience.

Hours:

6:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday

Experience using calipers, height gauges, and other calibrated inspection tours is required.

The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for receiving and performing quality inspection of incoming material, in-process, and finished devices to ensure compliance with established specifications.

• Perform quality inspection and tests on incoming material, in-process, finished devices to ensure compliance with established specifications
• Document inspection results according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Identify nonconforming material and elevate to the Material Review Board (MRB)
• Interact with various cross-functional departments including engineering, manufacturing and R&D in a collaborative team environment.
• Follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in quality assurance required, preferably in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry or technical field.

• Experience working with an electronic process (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Access, Excel)
• Able to understand product applications, specifications, functionality, structure, assembly and test methods/processes.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
• Capable of handling and inspecting small components.

• Occasionally reaches up/down with arms.
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 30 lbs.

18.00 to 20.00 per hour
