As the Quality Assurance Director
, you will lead and own the quality and food safety assurance processes for finished and semi-finished products produced at the plant. This role ensures a consistent approach to Quality and Food Safety standards across the end-to-end supply chain—driving continuous improvement to meet customer and consumer expectations while embedding quality into key business processes from new product development through procurement and logistics.
- Supervise and coordinate quality and food safety assurance activities across the end-to-end supply chain, including Suppliers Quality (brewing and packaging materials)
- Lead implementation of Quality policies, strategic initiatives, standards, and procedures across country operations and internal processes (e.g., NPD, procurement, CAPEX)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards, including HACCP, GMP, and GFSI (SQF) practices; manage hygiene, safety, and product quality
- Oversee audit/inspection readiness and compliance, including regular inspections and staff training on quality control processes and procedures
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) on high-risk quality incidents, complaints, and recalls at country level, ensuring corrective and preventative actions are implemented and learnings are shared
- Partner with internal stakeholders and relevant local, state, and federal authorities, including participation in the crisis committee for product incidents
- Education:Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience:10+ years of progressive experience (not necessarily 10 at a Director level)
- Certifications/Technology:HACCP; GFSI (SQF) and ISO 9001 / 22001 knowledge; ISO auditing experience
- Additional Requirements:Strong understanding of food and beverage legislation; advanced quality/food safety and project management skills
- Leadership:Proven stakeholder management and ability to build trust and influence without line authority
