Job Summary
IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients, and health & biosciences. The role is based in Madison, WI (hybrid) and offers the chance to impact everyday products while working in a collaborative, quality‑driven and customer‑focused team.
Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality customer support as the primary quality representative for assigned customers.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality, food safety, and environmental regulations and standards (e.g., FSSC
22000, GFSI, cGMP, ICHQ7). - Partner cross‑functionally to understand customer requirements, quality expectations, and IFF management plans.
- Manage technical commercialization activities, including risk assessments and approvals for materials, packaging, and labeling.
- Create, maintain, and deliver customer‑facing product documentation such as product descriptions, certificates, and statements.
- Manage product quality and food safety complaints, including investigations, root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and customer communication.
- Serve as IFF’s representative in customer quality meetings, audits, and assurance activities, including site visits as required.
- Manage product master data in SAP and support the information flow for new products and product changes.
- Measure KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and support additional quality workflows such as product returns and deviations.
- Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field.
- Minimum of 4years of experience in food ingredients, dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, or quality/regulatory roles.
- Strong knowledge of food safety systems, GMPs, HACCP, and quality management systems.
- Hands‑on, service‑oriented mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with IT platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders globally.
- Experience supporting customer audits, inspections, or regulatory interactions.
- Background managing Kosher, Halal, export requirements, or product registrations.
- Proven success driving continuous improvement in customer quality or food safety processes.
