Opportunity Overview

Quality Control/Quality Assurance Technician – CONTRACT (2026 Outage Work)

Seasonal/short-term work for the duration of the outage, possibly leading to future assignments based on performance. Responsible for overseeing and inspecting in-process field service activities and ensuring compliance with quality program requirements at nuclear sites. Reports to the Field Services Quality Manager.

• Work with blueprints, sketches, production diagrams, and engineering drawings to determine critical quality characteristics and the inspection methodology.
• Use inspection tools and gauges (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to verify that components meet quality specifications.
• Monitor product quality and inspect materials, components, and assemblies for compliance with specifications and industry standards.
• Identify and contain non-conforming material; quarantine and document according to procedures.
• Provide guidance for project quality concerns.
• Maintain regulatory compliance for inspection requirements, documentation, and traceability in a regulated industry.
• Identify potential errors and support document control and procedure change requests.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of experience in a quality inspection role in a related industry required.
• 5 years of experience supporting machining and welding operations in a regulated environment.
• Understanding of ASME Codes, 10
  
  CFR
  50, NQA-1, and ANSI.
• Hold Level II per SNT‑TC‑1A for Liquid Penetrant certification.
• Hold VT certification per CWI or ANSI N45.2 certification.

The base salary range for this position is estimated to be $55.00–$65.00 per hour, dependent on experience, qualifications and skills.
