Visual Inspection Technician I
We are PCI Pharma Services, a global biopharma partner dedicated to delivering life‑changing therapies. We are seeking a Visual Inspection Technician I to perform visual inspections of sterile filled vials, ensuring product quality and patient safety.
Responsibilities- Perform visual inspection of sterile filled containers while seated, using a light source to identify product defects.
- Record production quantities and other information in compliance with Good Documentation Practices.
- Apply moderate math skills for piece counting, time calculations, and product reconciliation.
- Follow written procedures to produce neat, accurate results according to GMP standards and regulations.
- Conduct daily cleaning of visual inspection and packaging areas according to established procedures.
- Identify and communicate product quality issues to maintain high quality standards.
- Maintain attention to detail and quality while completing multiple or repetitive tasks and meeting product timelines.
- Communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization.
- Maintain a high level of integrity while balancing all job responsibilities.
- Perform all duties in compliance with applicable regulations and SOPs.
- Previous employment in an FDA/USDA or GMP environment is desired.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with standard office applications.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand, read, and follow technical and written documents (SOPs) in English.
- Strong visual acuity: 20/20 vision (corrected or uncorrected) with annual checks; ability to see all colors and discern product specifications across multiple products.
- Ability to work while wearing PPE for all GMP areas for an entire shift (non‑latex gloves, hair/beard covers, lab coats).
- Detail oriented, self‑motivated, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Demonstrates honesty, integrity, respect, and courtesy with leadership and peers.
- Openness to receiving and implementing feedback, resilience, and ability to learn from mistakes.
