Join our Global Human Health Quality team at Novonesis, where we ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality and food safety before reaching customers worldwide. As a Human Health Product Quality Manager , you will play a critical role in safeguarding product integrity across the value chain and enabling business success through strong quality leadership.
You will become part of a team of highly skilled Product Quality Managers and global Human Health Quality professionals who collaborate closely across functions and business areas. Together, we continuously challenge and improve processes, while maintaining a strong team spirit and enjoying the journey.
The Role & Your Impact As Human Health Product Quality Manager , you will act as the key quality representative in the Human Health Product Management Team (PMT), driving quality decisions and ensuring compliance across the product lifecycle. This is a cross-functional, strategic role where you combine technical expertise with stakeholder influence to ensure products consistently meet customer and regulatory expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
Understand current and future customer and market quality requirements and translate them into actionable priorities
Lead quality-related discussions and decision-making within the Product Management Team Ensure compliance and consistent quality standards across the Human Health value chain
Act as the “voice of the customer” on quality, ensuring end-to-end alignment
Drive initiatives to reduce customer complaints and improve product performance
Additional responsibilities:
Define and maintain correct product specifications
Make final decisions on Finished Goods dispensations
Support resolution of complex non-conforming products (NCRs) and product-related complaints
Collaborate with global and local quality teams to improve processes and efficiency
Ensure cross-industry alignment and continuous improvement
What You’ll Need to Be SuccessfulB.Sc. or M.Sc. in a scientific field
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within Novonesis or legacy companies
Experience as a people manager or project manager
Strong knowledge of Human Health cultures and/or proteins, including development, formulation, manufacturing processes, and product application
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Core competencies:
Strong leadership and decision-making in complex and uncertain environments
Ability to communicate clearly and facilitate problem resolution across stakeholders
Proven stakeholder management in a matrix organization
Capability to navigate evolving processes while maintaining business continuity

Ways of Working / Working Conditions Hybrid working model
Standard working hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Online meetings with international stakeholders are expected
Ad hoc national and international travel may be required
Cross-functional collaboration in a global matrix organization
Compensation & Benefits Expected base salary: $125,000 - $145,000 level, dependent on experience
401(k) with up to a 9% company contribution
