Role
EHS Senior Specialist supporting environmental, health, and safety programs at Arrowhead's Madison facility.
Responsibilities- develop and implement EHS systems
- conduct safety audits
- investigate incidents
- manage hazardous waste
- deliver safety training
- monitor contractor compliance
- support process and facility changes to promote safety and regulatory adherence
- Bachelor's in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- 5+ years of EHS experience in research, biotech, or manufacturing environments
- strong biosafety and chemical safety knowledge
- proven training capabilities
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- proficiency in MS Office
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience in regulated pharmaceutical/biotech labs or manufacturing
- knowledge of EHS regulations
- cross-functional collaboration skills
- Role emphasizes biosafety, chemical safety, biological waste handling, and compliance within a research-driven biotech setting, with a focus on continuous safety improvements in a lab and manufacturing environment
- onsite in Wisconsin, with a salary range of $90,000-$105,000
