Mass Spectrometry Operator

Description Main responsibilities

• Start batches on LC-MS (instrumentation focused role)
• Help with instrument training- new chemists
• Help with system scheduling (50+ Mass Spec)

• Will have chemists shadow running instrumentation
• troubleshooting the instrumentation and conducting routine maintenance
• independently run LC-MS instrumentation
• Documenting work- maintaining lab records
• Coordinate 60 chemists
• Communicate with Study Directors with corrective actions
• Identify technical issues

• B.S. Chemistry, Biochemistry or related life science degree
• 2+ years of chemistry lab experience
• 1-2 years LC-MS- running the instrument independently
• Troubleshooting instrumentation experience- exposure to this
• Ability to operate independently

Intermediate Level

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
