Responsibilities

+ Perform routine microbiology testing on dietary supplement samples.

+ Prepare samples and media for laboratory analysis.

+ Conduct plating, dilution, and microbial testing following established procedures.

+ Use pipettes and laboratory equipment to process samples.

+ Document testing results and maintain accurate records.

+ Follow laboratory safety guidelines and aseptic techniques.

+ Work with team members to meet testing deadlines.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related Life Science field.

+ Laboratory experience through coursework, research, or internships.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

+ Eagerness to learn and grow in a laboratory career.

+ Pathogen testing (E. coli, Salmonella, Listeria)

+ Microbial enumeration and plate count techniques

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
