- Support evaluation projects within the Wisconsin Evaluation Collaborative
- Collect, clean, and analyze data
- Create data visualizations
- Disseminate results through reports and presentations in various formats
- Assist with developing methodologies and interpreting analysis results
- Assist with proposal development and grant applications
- Conduct experiments and interviews and document results
- Conduct literature reviews and prepare reports and materials
- Assist with publications and disseminate information to appropriate entities
- Identify concerns and recommend solutions to leadership
- Train individuals and groups on equipment operations, research protocols, and techniques within a specialized research area
Requirements
- At least two years of experience working with educational data, including K-12 student and staffing data
- At least two years of experience cleaning and analyzing large statewide and school district-wide datasets, including Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction data
- At least two years of experience working with public schools, districts, or state education organizations
- At least two years of experience interpreting results from quantitative analysis
- At least two years of experience with survey data
- At least two years of experience using statistical software such as SAS or Stata
- Strong writing and reporting skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Required to work on-site at the Educational Sciences Building in Madison, WI three days per week, with two remaining workdays eligible to be performed off-site
- Master’s Degree Required Minimum
- Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
- Successful applicants may be subject to a criminal background check
- References may be requested from final candidates
