- Collects and analyzes research data, conducts experiments and interviews, and documents results under general supervision
- Assists with identifying research problems and developing research methodologies and procedures
- Serves as a main point of contact and liaison with internal and external stakeholders
- Attends and assists with scholarly events and presentations
- Conducts literature reviews, prepares reports and materials, and disseminates information
- Writes or assists in developing grant applications and proposals to secure research funding
- Supports recruitment, implementation, and development of clinical research studies and clinical trials
- Works closely with multidisciplinary research teams, patients, and study sites
- Participates in clinical and translational cancer research using mixed methods techniques applied to clinical trial recruitment
- Background in social sciences
- Facility with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience working with qualitative research analysis software
- PhD in a related field is required
- Must pass an initial caregiver check and every four years under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law
- Must continuously maintain eligibility to work in the United States
- University sponsorship is not available, including transfers of sponsorship and TN visas
- Must provide proof of work authorization and eligibility to work
- Employment may require a criminal background check
- References may be required to answer questions regarding misconduct, including sexual violence and sexual harassment
Demonstrates expertise in qualitative research methodologies and clinical trial recruitment, with a strong ability to analyze data and communicate findings effectively. Proficient in grant writing and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to advance clinical and translational cancer research.
