Lab Scientist I​/II

• Collects and analyzes research data, conducts experiments and interviews, and documents results under general supervision
• Assists with identifying research problems and developing research methodologies and procedures
• Serves as a main point of contact and liaison with internal and external stakeholders
• Attends and assists with scholarly events and presentations
• Conducts literature reviews, prepares reports and materials, and disseminates information
• Writes or assists in developing grant applications and proposals to secure research funding
• Supports recruitment, implementation, and development of clinical research studies and clinical trials
• Works closely with multidisciplinary research teams, patients, and study sites
• Participates in clinical and translational cancer research using mixed methods techniques applied to clinical trial recruitment

• Background in social sciences
• Facility with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience working with qualitative research analysis software
• PhD in a related field is required
• Must pass an initial caregiver check and every four years under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law
• Must continuously maintain eligibility to work in the United States
• University sponsorship is not available, including transfers of sponsorship and TN visas
• Must provide proof of work authorization and eligibility to work
• Employment may require a criminal background check
• References may be required to answer questions regarding misconduct, including sexual violence and sexual harassment

Demonstrates expertise in qualitative research methodologies and clinical trial recruitment, with a strong ability to analyze data and communicate findings effectively. Proficient in grant writing and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to advance clinical and translational cancer research.
