Job location:

UW - Madison, Wisconsin. This is a part-time, entry-level dishwasher role within Levy’s kitchen team, supporting a fast-paced food service operation.

As a Dishwasher with Levy at UW - Madison, you’ll help maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Your attention to detail ensures that dishes, cookware, and kitchen areas are spotless, following the highest standards of sanitation and safety. If you’re a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, essential role, we want you on our kitchen team!

• Scrape, rinse, and wash dishes, pots, pans, and trays, ensuring thorough cleaning and sanitation.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Remove trash and waste, place it in designated containers, and wash garbage cans to maintain a hygienic kitchen space.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to keep them clean and safe.
• Maintain the dishwashing area; ensure equipment is functioning properly and report issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned to support overall cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen.

• Restaurant experience is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long hours and lift/move 20-40 lbs.
• Strong willingness to contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Must be available to work nights and weekends.
