Lead Cook is responsible for daily planning and for completing all large quantity cooking, catering and baking in the Dr. Joe. The Lead Cook completes inventory and places daily orders with vendors to ensure ingredients are available to support menu items. Trains and coordinates kitchen employees and volunteers ensuring sanitation standards per regulatory agencies are met. Exhibits knowledge to quality food standards, methods of food preparation, operation of food service equipment and ability to adjust recipes to meet production needs.

Education- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Servsafe – Within 6 months of hire
- Sanitation knowledge, verbal, written skills. Follow/develop recipes, safe food handling and knife skills.
