Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Merchandising, Stocking
Position Summary
This role is responsible for baking, frying, packaging, displaying and stocking deli products, ensuring that the shift contributes to the financial best interest of the store. The associate will complete additional duties as assigned in a timely manner.
Responsibilities- Baking and frying duties determined by production schedule – 80% of the time.
- Price, date, wrap or bag deli products.
- Properly fill, rotate, inspect, and merchandise deli shelves, cases, and displays.
- Notify the Deli Manager when products and supplies need to be ordered.
- Assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise.
- Have familiarity with all products carried in the department; know differences in price, taste, preparation, use, etc.
- Handle spoiled or damaged products per established guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, attractive, and well‑stocked department.
- Follow all PPE and safety guidelines.
- Follow all food safety and cleaning expectations.
- Follow guest experience guidelines.
- May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
- High school diploma (preferred).
- One year of retail or related experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Detail oriented.

The associate must stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate.
Travel requirements vary by assignment.
