Role Description

The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Madison, WI. This position supports daily store operations, including supervising staff, coordinating schedules, and maintaining visual standards and merchandising. The Assistant Store Manager helps oversee fittings, ensuring each customer receives attentive, respectful service and a positive experience. Responsibilities include supporting sales goals, monitoring inventory, assisting with store opening and closing procedures, and reinforcing loss prevention practices.

The role also involves coaching team members, resolving customer concerns, and partnering with the Store Manager to drive performance and uphold Allure’s service standards.

Qualifications
  • Strong customer-focused abilities, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and Communication skills for interacting with customers and guiding team members.
  • Experience or aptitude in Store Management, including supervising staff and overseeing daily operations.
  • Awareness of Retail Loss Prevention practices to help safeguard merchandise and maintain a secure environment.
  • Previous retail or boutique experience, preferably in apparel or intimate wear.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, support fitting appointments, and manage a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with basic POS and inventory systems.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
