Liquor Store Manager

Spartan Nash Associates, LLC is seeking a Liquor Store Manager to lead daily operations in our retail liquor department. You will oversee inventory, merchandising, and compliance with state and local alcohol regulations while ensuring accurate cash handling and loss prevention. Partner with vendors, manage ordering, and maintain visually appealing, well stocked displays. Hire, train, and schedule team members, coach performance, and promote excellent customer service.

You'll model Spartan Nash's people first values, driving sales and profitability while creating a safe, inclusive, community focused store environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily liquor store operations, including opening, closing, and cash control
• Ensure compliance with all state and local alcohol laws and company policies
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and stock rotation to minimize shrink
• Develop and maintain merchandising standards and promotional displays
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise team members, providing ongoing coaching
• Deliver high levels of customer service and resolve customer concerns
• Monitor sales, margins, and KPIs to achieve store performance targets
• Implement loss prevention, safety, and security procedures
• Collaborate with vendors on product mix, pricing, and promotions
