Frozen​/Dairy Manager

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Frozen/Dairy Manager to lead our Frozen and Dairy departments. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining proper inventory levels, ensuring product freshness and quality, managing merchandising standards, and leading a team dedicated to delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for food retail, and the ability to maintain a clean, organized, and profitable department while providing excellent customer service.

• Manage all daily operations of the Frozen and Dairy departments.
• Order, receive, and maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet customer demand.
• Monitor and control department sales, margins, shrink, and labor costs.
• Ensure proper product rotation using FIFO practices and monitor expiration dates.
• Maintain attractive, fully stocked, and properly merchandised displays.
• Verify pricing accuracy and ensure all promotions, sales tags, and signage are correctly displayed and updated.
• Maintain refrigeration and freezer cases to ensure product quality and food safety standards are met.
• Train, coach, schedule, and develop department team members.
• Oversee unloading, stocking, and organization of deliveries.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a professional manner.
• Ensure department compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with store leadership to achieve sales goals and improve department performance.
• Analyze sales trends and recommend merchandising opportunities to drive growth.

• Previous grocery retail management or department management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of frozen and dairy products, inventory management, and merchandising practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer and inventory management skills preferred.
