Responsibilities

  • Drives OTAC (“on-time, accurate, and complete”) throughout the selling process from RFQ to sales order capture.
  • Works closely with the outside sales team to craft and deliver quotes per the customers’ specifications.
  • Updates customers on quote status, including expiration dates and/or price changes.
  • Encourages the Voice of Customer (VOC) to uncover new product development opportunities.
  • Collaborates with and acts as a liaison between engineering, finance, operations and other key departments and the customer during the sales process.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in sales or customer service, preferably in material handling or related industry.
  • Experience with workplace tools such as Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and ERP systems.
  • An internal passion for helping people and improving processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Places the customer at the center of all activities.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
