Climate Solutions Sales Rep

Job Summary

As a Vertical Sales Rep for Climate Solutions, you will be the voice and initial point of contact for our industry-leading company, using your sales and consultative skills to understand customer needs and turn them into loyal customers.

• Use sales and consultative skills to identify prospects’ needs and progress the entire sales process in person or over the telephone.
• Negotiate individual transactions and contracts directly with customers.
• Learn the technical features of Climate Solutions equipment to provide specialized solutions to clients.
• Use Salesforce (SFDC) or other CRM systems to manage sales activities.
• Participate in on‑call rotation to provide after‑hour service and response.
• Provide equipment delivery, installation, and customer product training.
• Maintain attention to detail with regard to sales technology tools and strong organizational skills.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
• 2 years’ sales experience in small A/C and heating rentals and related services (strongly preferred).
• Mechanically inclined with ability to learn technical features of equipment.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds and safely operate a forklift, lift gate, and box truck.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Position deemed Safety Sensitive for United Rentals’ policies and procedures.
