Candidates must live within the territory for this role. The territory includes Madison, WI and the majority of IA.

Reporting into the Division Manager, the Hematology Clinical Account Specialist for Epcoritamab and Ibrutinib will build and implement territory business plans that align with overall brand objectives and business goals. This individual must demonstrate a clear and thorough understanding of hematology disease states, establish strong professional relationships with hematologists/oncologists (in private, group practice, and hospital settings), nursing and office staff, and all others involved in the oncology patient care continuum.

They foster collaboration with peers and the extended team network, contributing to the accomplishment of team goals by sharing knowledge, experience, and information. The specialist drives results aligned with brand expectations and the company mission for the betterment of patients.

Key Accountabilities /

Core Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales goal.
  • Presents approved disease state and product information to customers using persuasive selling skills within Pharmacyclics’s Promotional Policy.
  • Leverages sales analytics and customer intelligence to create high‑impact, strategic plans aligned with brand objectives.
  • Executes sales and marketing strategies within the territory, leveraging cross‑functional partners and approved resources.
  • Continuously builds knowledge of an evolving marketplace, territory changes, and disease‑state knowledge & product expertise.
  • Collaborates effectively with a territory partner and Genmab counterpart(s).
  • Develops and executes a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies governing Pharmacyclics activities.
  • Remains current on all clinical, market, and payer developments, trends, and issues specific to oncology and disease areas.
  • Completes all Abb Vie required training and maintains adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
  • Seeks out important information within assigned accounts and geography, and articulates implications to business and customers.
  • Transfers knowledge to internal partners and integrates standard methodologies that provide tangible value for customers and patients across assigned indications/brands.
  • Establishes and maintains a complete understanding of approved product label and disease‑state knowledge for impactful use with customers.
  • Optimizes external and internal data, resources, and tools to identify sales opportunities and program strategy for customers in assigned territories.
  • Actively participates in relevant organizational programs in local markets with approval of legal/OEC.
  • Develops a strong command of available selling resources and tools; fully demonstrates them to support selling strategies and maximize impact.
  • Meets health‑care industry representative credentialing requirements to gain entry into facilities and organizations in the assigned territory (background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization/vaccination — various diseases).
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • 2+ years of hematology/oncology sales experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales expectations.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and effectively using a consultative selling style.
  • Competitive selling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a highly collaborative, team environment.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Persistency and grit with a strong track record of succeeding in a challenging environment.
  • Business travel, by air or car, is regularly required.
Preferred
  • Oncology, specialty, or other pharma experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Account management experience in any industry.
  • Specialty pharmacy experience.
  • Healthcare industry experience, especially working with patients or consulting healthcare companies.
  • People management or other leadership experience.
  • MBA or other advanced degree.
