Job Summary
- We have five openings in each location Madison, WI and Janesville, WI.
- As a Direct Outside Sales Representative and member of sales teams you will be on the front lines, interacting with customers every day at their doorstep - educating them on products and services, and how they can enrich their life.
- As a Direct Outside Sales Representative, you will sell our products and services door-to-door. This is not a desk job. You will canvass neighborhoods and provide the community with reliable TV, phone, and internet services, act as a territory manager, acquire new leads beyond the marketing list, gain referral partners, participate in community events, and act as a brand ambassador. This is a year-round, full-time position with a flexible work schedule.
- Schedule: Manage your own 40-hour work-week between 09:00 AM to 09:00 PM Monday-Saturday.
- Compensation: Base Salary $30,500 + uncapped commission. Targeted earnings from $60K-$100K per year or more. The salary listed for this position encompasses both the base salary and earnings when meeting established sales quotas.

- Contact cold and warm prospects through in-person cold calling, networking, and referrals to educate them on voice, data, and television services in the assigned territory.
- Make sales calls to determine customer needs, gather information, and sell our client services to achieve sales quotas.
- Prepare documentation of sales orders, agreements, third-party verifications, and sales reports, and remit them to the supervisor daily.
- Manage customer accounts from sale through installation.
- Perform telephone follow-ups after installation to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Set up and attend community events that create sales opportunities.
- 6+ months of sales/customer service experience – or current or prior military service with honorable discharge; 1+ year of outside sales experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any credentials and/or licenses necessary to sell.
- Must have access to reliable transportation.
- Computer literate with familiarity of in-home electronics, computers, and high-speed Internet.
- Enthusiastic, persuasive, persistent, and able to handle rejection well.
- Good listener with superior people skills.
- Committed to providing exceptional customer service in a calm, professional manner.
- Ability to prioritize, organize work effectively, and be a self-starter.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for customer education on cable, voice, and data services.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
- Ability to deal with the public in a professional manner.
- Must be able to pass local community background checks and permitting processes.
