Axio Bio Pharma is building the vendor‑neutral data coordination layer for biomanufacturing. A single drug program runs across a dozen systems that don’t talk to each other, spanning sites, teams, and outside partners. Our platform,
Lattice
, connects them without moving data out of the customer’s environment, so the customer keeps ownership, tech transfers and batch investigations run faster, and AI finally has clean, connected data to work on. You’ll be selling that outcome, not a rip‑and‑replace. The payoff: life‑saving drugs reaching patients faster and cheaper.
Lattice is in active development, and we are already working with select manufacturing and pharma partners to validate the platform in real environments. We have operating revenue, a live early‑access partner program, and an active commercial pipeline.
We are hiring our first dedicated Head of Sales for Lattice to own platform revenue and partner directly with the CEO on commercial strategy. You’ll sell hands‑on now and have a clear path to build and lead the sales organization as Lattice scales. This is a hybrid motion: land paid design‑partner and early‑access agreements today, and build the commercial engine that scales toward general availability.
The timing is deliberate. AI in biomanufacturing keeps stalling on disconnected data (see our BAMI field report). We want a hunter who can move complex, technical deals from conversation to contract.
- Own the full sales cycle for Lattice, from first conversation to signed agreement
- Convert active customer conversations into paid design‑partner, feasibility, and pilot contracts
- Build and run a qualified pipeline across biotech sponsors, contract manufacturers (CDMOs), and technology partners
- Translate Lattice’s federated model and Blueprint use cases (tech transfer, batch decisions, cross‑site comparison, investigations) into a clear narrative for both economic and technical buyers
- Partner with the CEO on pricing, account targeting, and commercial sequencing
- Grow design partners into expanding, multi‑site, and multi‑program subscriptions
- Eight or more years selling complex, technical software (platform, data infrastructure, integration, analytics, or enterprise SaaS) into large organizations
- A track record of closing. You’ve closed multiple six‑ and seven‑figure deals in the last 24 months, with real sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
- Credibility with both executive and technical audiences. You can hold your own with IT, data, and operations leaders, and you learn a customer’s technical world quickly
- Experience in life sciences, biomanufacturing, pharma, or another regulated, validation‑heavy industry
- Comfort selling a platform that is still maturing. You can sell the roadmap and a design‑partner relationship, not just a finished feature list
- Hunter mentality. You generate pipeline rather than wait for leads
- Relationships across pharma or CDMO digital transformation, manufacturing operations, or BD leadership
- Familiarity with the systems that run manufacturing and labs (LIMS, MES, historians, ELNs), or with tech‑transfer and batch‑investigation workflows
- Experience selling federated, data‑governance, interoperability, or security platforms into regulated enterprises
- Uncapped commission

On‑target earnings in a strong first year land around $250k–$500k
