Role DescriptionThe Sales and Marketing Specialist is a contract, on‑site role based in Madison, WI. This position is responsible for driving sales growth, building relationships with customers, and supporting marketing initiatives that increase brand visibility and revenue. Day‑to‑day tasks include engaging with prospective and existing customers, presenting products and services, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate records in sales systems. The specialist will collaborate with team members to develop and deliver training, assist with sales management activities, and provide input on promotional campaigns and customer outreach strategies.
The role requires consistent on‑site presence to support in‑person customer interactions, team meetings, and local market activities.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Sales Management skills to generate revenue, manage pipelines, and support sales processes.
- Candidates should possess Training skills to help educate customers and team members on products, services, and best practices.
- Relevant experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in a client‑facing environment.
- Ability to work on‑site in Madison, WI and manage time effectively in a contract role.
- Proficiency with basic office software and CRM or sales tracking tools is beneficial.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities, resilience in a target‑driven environment, and a commitment to ethical, inclusive practices.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
