Description

Pharmaceutical Sales Territory Representative – Primary Care (Entry Level – Specialty) located in Madison, WI (Job d) at Access Pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities

Manage your territory by developing relationships with physicians, clinics, and primary‑care offices, maintaining existing accounts, and meeting sales objectives while providing consultative support to healthcare professionals.

Major Duties
  • Build positive relationships and penetrate large accounts, identifying key decision makers.
  • Develop a customer base through creative thinking.
  • Create a territory plan with goals and resource allocation (coverage, sampling, grant/education proposals for key customers).
  • Gain formulary acceptance and compliance with managed‑care accounts.
  • Demonstrate scientific understanding of clinical papers.
  • Partner with customers proactively, anticipating needs and developing account business plans.
  • Utilize consultative skills to assist customers with their business.
  • Market and sell vertical products.
Required Experience and Qualifications
  • Some sales experience and/or relevant skills.
  • Consultative selling experience preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely; proficiency with Zoom.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Capability to target health professionals to maximize sales growth.
  • Effective selling skills and product knowledge to influence prescribing decisions.
  • Analyze territory information to optimize routing and sales results.
  • Utilize sales tools, resources and supporting analysis to plan activity.
  • Develop and execute plans to maximize selling resources.
  • Pre‑call planning to match health‑care professionals’ needs.
  • Leverage data and customer knowledge to build discussions around HCP and patients’ needs.
  • Pursue continuous learning and professional development in efficient sales, communication and product training.
  • Perform company business in accordance with all regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate high ethical and professional standards at all times.
