A leading developer in the global automation market, Pepperl+Fuchs is looking for a hardworking, ambitious individual to fill an immediate need for a result driven Account Manager with a strong background in industrial automation sales for our Factory Automation Division in Wisconsin. As a Pepperl+Fuchs Account Manager, you will be responsible for the sales activities within existing accounts while provided the freedom to pursue new accounts. This is a great opportunity to utilize your ability to create new relationships, provide valuable solutions to your customers, and represent products that have a solid, positive industry reputation.
The Account Manager will have the overall responsibility for account management including:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing and new accounts.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities at these accounts as well as new accounts.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer applications and provide consultative solutions using Pepperl+Fuchs products.
- Collaborate with internal product management and market teams to support customer solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, territory plans, and activity reports.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitor activity.
- Willingness to travel across the state of Wisconsin on a daily/weekly basis as business dictates.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with industrial automation sales.
- Desire to grow professionally.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience selling in one of the following markets:- Original Equipment Manufacturing
- Automotive Manufacturing
- Autonomous Vehicle Technology
- IIoT Industry 4.0
- Packaging Machinery
- Semiconductors/electronics industries
