We’re seeking a motivated freshman or sophomore undergraduate student to join our team as a part-time Student Laboratory Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a professional laboratory setting while supporting innovative scientific research.

This role offers flexible scheduling during the academic year and the opportunity to continue working over the summer. This is a part‑time role paying $21.00 per hour and requires onsite work in Madison, WI.

• Wash and maintain laboratory glassware and supplies
• Prepare and aliquot laboratory solutions
• Perform general laboratory cleaning and organization
• Track, inventory, and order laboratory supplies
• Assist scientists with experiments as time permits

• Current freshman or sophomore enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university or college
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
• Strong attention to detail and consistency when performing repetitive tasks
• Dependable, organized, and responsible
• Availability during regular weekday business hours
• Interest in science or healthcare fields
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Willingness and ability to spend 75% of the workday walking the facility
