Job Description
Eurofins Food Chemistry Madison is growing and looking for new team members.
Our ISO 17025 accredited laboratory focuses on infant formula, sole‑source nutrition products, hemp and CBD, dietary supplements, and botanicals. The testing portfolio includes vitamins, minerals, contaminants, pesticides, and shelf‑life studies.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Apply GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate.
- Conduct routine analyses independently in compliance with methods, protocols, SOPs and regulatory agency guidelines.
- Document work and maintain study documentation and laboratory records.
- Use laboratory equipment and software appropriate for assigned tasks.
- Attend and participate in project meetings.
- Perform peer review of data.
- Plan day‑to‑day workload and effectively schedule multiple assignments.
- Contribute to a cohesive team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self‑motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (laboratory experience may be substituted for a degree).
- Relevant experience preferred.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
- May work with potentially hazardous materials.
- Will be exposed to potential food allergens (e.g., milk, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish).
- Overtime and weekend work as required.
- Work requires some standing and sitting for long periods.
- Work requires use of PPE.
- Reside within a commutable distance to the Madison, WI lab.
3rd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 10:00 pm – 8:30 am.
