Associate Analytical Chemist

Our client, a leading organization in the food chemistry testing industry, is seeking an Associate Analytical Chemist to join their team. As an Associate Analytical Chemist, you will be part of the Laboratory Support team supporting food and botanical testing projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Madison, WI

Pay Range: $17/hr-$18/hr

Shift: 1st Shift, 8am - 4:30pm

• Receive and process samples, including labeling and storage management
• Work with dry ice and computerized lab documentation systems
• Perform project-based work involving plant, agricultural, or scientific samples
• Grind and process samples within specified time frames
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with laboratory protocols

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (laboratory experience may substitute for a degree)
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Ability to work with potentially hazardous materials and food allergens
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
• Reside within a commutable distance to Madison, WI
