Associate Chemist

What You'll Do- Perform analytical and wet chemistry testing on food, dietary supplements, and related products
- Prepare samples, reagents, and standards for testing
- Learn and operate instrumentation including HPLC, UPLC, and GC
- Conduct tests such as titrations, spectrophotometry, and other analytical techniques
- Document results and maintain accurate laboratory records
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced laboratory environment
- Collaborate with scientists and laboratory team members to meet client timelines
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or related science
- Analytical chemistry coursework required
- Undergraduate research, lab coursework, or internship experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in learning advanced analytical instrumentation
- Extensive training and mentorship
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, UPLC, and GC
- Exposure to food, dietary supplement, and nutrition testing

Job Type & Location
This is a contract to hire position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.52 - $23.52/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
