Security Officer

Overview

Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard? You will monitor a series of security screens, using sharp observation and attention to detail to spot threats before they escalate. You may work in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and similar settings.

• Competitive hourly wage of $18.54 / Hour (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees)

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents with detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and excellent concentration
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• State license if required
