Security Officer - Day Shift

Garda World Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer.

As a Security Officer – Concierge, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

  Full-time, Monday through Friday, 1st shift 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Competitive hourly wage of $22/hr (Daily Pay is available for Garda World employees)

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Log patrol times and locations
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• Inspect IDF/MDF rooms once per hour
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Perform access control duties
• Report any facility-related issues that may compromise security or safety
• Report out‑of‑range temperatures
• Utilize the daily activity log to document patrols with accurate details
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED (documentation required)
• Successful completion of an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• State license if required
