Surveillance Security Officer – Garda World Security Services

Garda World Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. This role requires a sharp eye and strong observational skills to monitor security systems and ensure the safety of the premises.

• Site location:
  Madison, WI 53703
• Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 1st shift 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Competitive hourly wage: $24.60 per hour (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees)

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety of premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.

• Prior experience in a manager role.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Documentation of high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Knowledge of security operations, incident reporting and site procedures.
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Security, military or law‑enforcement experience favorable.
• State license, if required.

Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended.
