This is a part-time, on-site Executive Team Leader Assets Protection role based in Madison, WI. The Executive Team Leader Assets Protection is responsible for leading store-level strategies to reduce theft and shrink, protect physical assets, and support a safe environment for guests and team members. This role partners with store leadership to implement loss prevention programs, monitor compliance with safety and security procedures, and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner.
Daily responsibilities include supervising Assets Protection team members, analyzing security and shortage data, conducting investigations in alignment with company policy, and collaborating with law enforcement when appropriate. The role also includes training and coaching store teams on safety, emergency response, and best practices in asset protection while maintaining strong guest service standards.
- Demonstrated team leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate diverse teams.
- Experience or training in physical security and retail loss prevention, including incident response and risk assessment.
- Background or familiarity with law enforcement practices, investigations, or related security fields is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work on-site in Madison, WI, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
- Experience in a retail or customer-facing environment is beneficial; bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, business, or a related field is a plus.
- Comfort using technology and security systems, with attention to detail and commitment to ethical and compliant conduct.
