Join BEST Crowd Management at UW-Madison providing welcoming, professional guest services at games, concerts, and campus events. Greet and guide guests, scan tickets, monitor entry points, and support crowd flow while following safety and security procedures. Communicate clearly with visitors and team members, respond calmly to questions or minor issues, and report concerns to supervisors. You'll receive training in guest services and event safety, work in a close-knit team environment, and gain experience in event operations with opportunities to grow within the Garda World network.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests at UW-Madison events with a friendly, professional attitude
• Scan tickets and verify credentials at gates and entry points
• Provide directions, event information, and seating assistance to visitors
• Monitor crowd flow and report potential safety or security concerns
• Follow BEST and venue protocols for emergency and incident response
• Communicate with supervisors and team via radio and briefings
• Support access control at restricted or VIP areas as assigned
• Maintain a visible presence to promote a safe, positive guest experience
