Security Officer

Securitas is hiring Security Officers to protect people, property, and assets for diverse clients. In this role, you will perform access control, patrol interior and exterior areas, monitor security systems, respond to alarms and incidents, and complete clear, timely reports. You'll interact with employees, visitors, and the public, providing helpful, professional customer service while enforcing safety and security procedures. Responsibilities

• Control access to facilities by checking IDs, badges, and visitor credentials
• Conduct interior and exterior foot or vehicle patrols to deter and detect security issues
• Monitor alarms, CCTV, and security systems and respond to alerts promptly
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accurate written reports
• Enforce client and site-specific safety, security, and confidentiality procedures
• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and the public
• Respond to emergencies, escalate issues, and coordinate with law enforcement or first responders as needed
• Participate in required training, drills, and certifications to maintain compliance and skills
• Follow post orders, company policies, and regulatory requirements at all times
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members via radio and verbal briefings
