Summary
Performs a variety of semi-skilled manual tasks in construction, maintenance, and repair activities; and does related work.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Understands OSHA standards relating to steel erection; understands and complies with CSE, Inc. Safety Program, rules, regulations and updates.
- Works within AISC Certification Procedures.
- Assists in building, construction, maintenance, and repair operations using various materials, equipment, and hand, pneumatic, and power tools in the performance of semi-skilled manual tasks.
- Cleans and sharpens tools; makes minor repairs and adjustments to power‑driven equipment; sweeps and cleans, etc.
- Picks up and delivers materials and helps make measurements.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or ExperienceHigh School Diploma preferred.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and to multiply and divide with tens and hundreds. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsValid driver's license.
Other QualificationsMust be able to travel. Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
