Affordable Offroad and Marine in Cameron specializes in the repair and maintenance of off road, marine, and small engine equipment. We proudly service a variety of machinery, including ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, boats, jet skis, outboard motors, chainsaws, lawnmowers, snow blowers, and generators. Our reputation is built on providing high-quality, affordable service that keeps our customers’ equipment running smoothly. We are expanding and looking for a talented mechanic to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain powersports vehicles, including ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, boats, jet skis, and outboard boat motors. Service small engine equipment such as chainsaws, lawnmowers, snow blowers, and generators, performing tasks like blade sharpening, oil changes, and carburetor cleaning. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using tools and diagnostic equipment. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Conduct safety inspections and test repaired equipment for optimal performance.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and meet customer needs. Communicate repair needs, costs, and maintenance tips clearly with customers.

Requirements:

Experience in small engine and/or powersports repair, including outboard motors (2+ years preferred). Proficiency with gasoline and two-stroke engines, electrical diagnostics, and repair techniques. Familiarity with technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality work. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. A valid driver’s license (required); ability to operate equipment is required.

Certifications such as Briggs & Stratton, Stihl, Mercury Marine, Yamaha, or Evinrude are highly valued.]
