We are searching for an entry level service mechanic looking to gain more experience in the diesel tech industry! Join our team at Pellitteri Waste Systems, Inc. • Perform preventative maintenance inspections
• Perform small repairs as needed from DVIR books
• Perform quality inspections of vehicles prior to returning to service
• Perform oil changes and replace fuel filters
• Gain knowledge from and assist our current highly skilled diesel mechanics on projects as needed
• Work in accordance with all federal guidelines (i.e. safety, DOT, MOT)

• Entry level is okay! We will train the right candidates that are willing to learn
• Strong mechanical aptitude and/or diesel tech schooling preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform the physical requirements of the position
• General knowledge of air brakes, diesel engines, and hydraulics is preferred but not required
• CDL A or B is helpful, but not required for a service mechanic
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age to work as a service mechanic
