The Role
We are seeking a Senior / Lead HVAC Technician to oversee complex HVAC installations, troubleshoot advanced system issues, and lead small crews in residential and light commercial environments. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced technician who is confident making technical decisions in the field and mentoring others.
You will serve as a lead on job sites, ensuring all work meets code requirements, safety standards, and Everlight’s quality expectations

- Lead HVAC system installations from start to finish, ensuring quality and code compliance
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems with minimal supervision
- Serve as the technical lead on job sites, guiding and mentoring 2–3 apprentice technicians
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices
- Communicate clearly with team members and leadership regarding job progress and issues
- Maintain job site organization, efficiency, and professionalism
- EPA 608 Certification (required)
- 5+ years of HVAC field experience (required)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system installation, repair, and troubleshooting
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights (20+ feet), and work in physically demanding positions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Comfortable leading others and working in a team-driven environment
- Willing to submit to driving, drug, and criminal background checks
- Possession of required personal tools to complete job duties
