Body Shop​/Collision Technician

Job Summary

We are looking to add a body shop technician to a busy and growing shop! We’re looking for a candidate that has a strong service technician background, is ASE and can complete repairs to OEM specifications and company standards certified. The day‑to‑day duties include performing work on specific repair orders, diagnosing what repairs need to be done and the ability to demonstrate and properly complete light to heavy repairs in a timely manner.

• Examine damaged vehicles and determine repairs
• Communicate status of repairs clearly to Body Shop Manager and dispatch
• Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts
• Document all repairs performed
• Document all materials used
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste

• 2+ years of collision repair experience as a Body Shop Technician in a production body shop
• Ability to properly complete light to heavy repairs, including: structural, replacing rails and use of a frame rack
• Participate in developing a proper repair plan for each vehicle
• Repair collision damaged vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and company standards
• I-CAR, ASE or Aluminum Certifications are a bonus
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
