Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in the Madison, WI area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $24/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

* Read and understand blueprints, geometrical call outs and weld symbols

* Use GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW to effectively weld weldments tanks and metal parts together per the weld process specification sheet

* Perform welding on a wide variety of metals and alloys including carbon steel galvanized steel stainless steel and aluminum

* Hand layouts of weldments

* Use fixtures gauges and jigs to manufacture welded parts to customer specifications

* Assist with creating work instructions

* Complete the first piece in process and final inspections using calipers height gauges protractors and tape measures

* Analyze weld processes and recommending process improvements
