HVAC Truck Journeymen Mechanic; union

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, pumps, fans, towers, boilers, chillers, compressors, and plumbing.
• Partner with Journeymen to repair centrifugal, steam turbines, and open‑drive screw chillers.
• Provide customers with solutions to improve facility efficiency, including upselling opportunities and commissioned service.
• Draft quotes and participate in Johnson Controls Service Plus Rewards program.
• Serve the Western Wisconsin region, primarily Tomah, WI; travel up to two hours, 10‑20% travel to support branch customers.

• Member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry (UAPPFI).
• Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Proficient with mechanical shaft alignment, vibration equipment, and diagnostic tools.
• Must pass a knowledge examination assessing HVAC proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license and state/local EPA refrigerant licensing where required.
• Self‑starter, strong safety focus, excellent written and verbal communication.

• Competitive pay at $48.25 hourly, with potential for overscale for qualified candidates.
• 5 days of vacation (outside union provisions).
