LaForce is looking for an Installer to work out of the Madison area. Our Installers are responsible for pre-installations of door hardware as well as installations of commercial doors and frames on a jobsite.
Major Responsibilities
- Install doors, frames, and hardware at the end user or new commercial construction site
- Receive, understand and execute work orders
- Follow specifications for the adjustment or replacement of existing material, installation of new material and disassembly and removal of material
- Operate various power and hand tools both safely and skillfully
- Represent the company professionally to satisfy immediate customer needs to foster return business
- Must be able to accommodate flexible work hours. Occasional travel may be required with the position
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of carpentry and/or construction experience
- Commercial door, frame, hardware installation experience is a plus
- Degree from a trade school or college is preferred
- Strong communication skills and customer service skills
- Ability to read and understand specifications, wiring diagrams and blueprints is required
- Valid Driver's License
